The one million contact campaign will be better if I had one thing.  All the flags of the world and the year that those countries were founded.

For the United States, the year would be   257 AG (1776-1519) for countries like Canada I would have trouble.  They belong to the commonwealth.  Something having to do with the Queen and England.  But they have formed a confederacy in 465 AG (1984-1519) so I don't know if that would be the year for which they were formed.

Recently there was this woman in Quesnel BC that filed a lawsuit because the schools taught yoga to students.  She said that was part of religion from India.  So if it was part of a religion from India it shouldn't be taught in schools.  Under Separation of Church and State.  I think she should've stopped right there.  She went on to say that if you ain't seeking his power (the bible) then you are against it.

She was calling people that were teaching yoga, a people that were against the bible and its teachings.  Something to think about I guess.

Anno Globus

This letter represents one contact in the One Million contact campaign, as the name suggests the campaign's goal is make one million contacts telling people about ANNO GLOBUS. Anno Globus translated from latin means 'Year of our Earth'.

The current year is 2009 and it is counted in AD or CE each of which comes from the Old Holy Roman Empire. Year Zero in Anno Globus would start at 1519 AD, the start of the final leg of the circumnavigation of the world. Once it was completed it proved that the world was round and not flat. This journey also made the Eastern and Western Hemisphere's people existence of the other known.

The United States Supreme courts have consistently been in support of separation of church and state. The 'establishment clause' has been cited in decisions against creationism to prayer at commencement ceromonies in schools. The way our years are counted in Anno Domini or Christian Era (common era in texts) is to endorse a religion and bind church and state together in schools, government, and commerce.

The 'establishment clause' can not be used in other governments around the world but private and public companies as well as individuals can help by forwarding this message. So encourage people to 'Change the World' by marking years in Anno Globus or both AD/AG (2009/490).

His business, if he has just one, can process a thousand transactions in the time it takes a greedy grocer with high margins to change a receipt roll in a cash register.

So if you & co. are going to join his market to try and take your share I'd remember to pay one thing

There is a monument in North Korea and it has the year 1953 posted on it with big unremovable letters.  With so many other religions out there in different countries, do you think the way years are represented should be changed to something else more politically correct?  Check out my page and see what I mean.  More secular and less religious?

The year (1519 CE) that Magellan started this journey to completely circumnavigate the globe is year zero in 'Anno Globus'. Latin phrase which means 'Year of our Earth' marking the start of one half of the world becoming aware of the other.

Imagine opening a book published this year and having the copyright date read 490 A.G. That is one area where the million contact campaign can have an impact.

University or College catalogues that are printed for every term or semester with the year printed as 490 A.G.

Quartely or Monthly magazines with the current year posted as Summer 490 A.G. or Fall 490 A.G.

Local community newspapers that are distributed for free at local stores and community gathering places.

Local businesses that distribute their products or services regionally, nationally, or internationally sending out products with manufacturing dates as may/june/july 490 A.G. Even correspondence with the year as 490 A.G.

A SAMPLE LETTER or EMAIL could state something like this.

Everyone is aware of globalization and a change to Anno Globus from Anno Domini would reflect this awareness. Ever since Magellan completed his circumnavigation of the earth the world hasn't stopped this 'trend' called Globalization. He started the final leg of his circumnavigation over 490 years ago today.

Today with the world wide web and digitization a change such as this is as simple as typing in a few digits.

With products and services coming from and going to different places in the world people have come to know that differences exist. Languages, customs, and religions are some of the easily identifiable common things that exist no matter where you go on the planet.

So I am sending this brief letter for you to consider making this globalization truly democratic by changing to Anno Globus.
